Created by long experimentation in gene-templating by ancient pact between the Navigator houses Calixis and the Adeptus Mechanicus Biologis, these creatures are three feet tall and always wear deeply-hooded robes that hide their features. They are genetically blind and warp-blind and have no eyes. They regulate their own reproduction according to strict schedule or when required, with one female being artificially inseminated and the resulting foetuses extracted and placed in tanks for maturation (they cannot reproduce naturally without the aid of this process). Their tongues are surgically removed at technobirth, and they communicate amongst themselves by means of high-frequency, low-intensity humming which their ears are genetically adapted to hear; these sounds are inaudible to most normal humans. Their masters may use wands which duplicate these sounds; they also understand Low Gothic. When necessary, they communicate with others (usually exclusively their masters) by simple body-posture or, for more complicated problems, by written Low Gothic on a dataslate. They are extensively gene-modded and trained to be as unobtrusive as possible so as not to disturb their Navigator master.
They are responsible for serving a Navigator in all things, from keeping the Navigator's cupola neat and tidy, to bringing them food, to helping them dress, to performing the routine maintentance on the arcane machinery in the Navigatrix. They are deeply conditioned to do so, both genetically and by psychoindoctrinative programming during birth-maturation, and by teaching during their short formative years. This programming means that they will never willingly leave the Navigator's quarters they were born to serve in; past examples of Servitor-Slaves forced to do so have sometimes resulted in their death from panic. It is unclear whether this is a gene-templated trait.
When not serving their Navigator they live in hidden chambers beneath the Navigatrix, which have simple sleeping quarters and the tech-devices necessary to ensure their reproductive cycle and allow them to maintain the machinery they are responsible for. They have a gestation period of one month before the foetus is removed for techno-surrogacy; the foetus reaches birthing age within another five months and is immediately mobile and ready for training and indoctrination. They grow to servile maturation in six months, and typically live for fifty years. They are resistant to radiation and to the corruptive power of the Warp.

Speed: 2/4/6/10; Wounds: 8
Skills: Concealment, Scrutiny, Silent Move +20, Trade (Technomat) +10, Trade (Voidfarer), Trade (Valet) +20, Speak Language (Low Gothic, Navigatrix Servitor-Slave), Medicae
Talents: Resistance (Radiation, Corruption, Heat, Cold)
Traits: Size (Scrawny), Mute*, Conditioning**, Blind, Unnatural Senses (1m), Perfect Servant***
*Mute: Despite understanding language, the Servitor-Slave cannot speak except in their own language, which is in a range normally inaudible to humans (Very Hard (-30) Awareness Test to notice when it is used within a few feet).
**Conditioning: Servitor-Slaves have a +30 bonus to resist mental domination or compulsion effects, and if that domination effect would cause them to turn against their Navigator or perform any action which might harm their Navigator, their synapses shut down and they die. They also must Test Toughness each Round they are removed from their Navigator's quarters or suffer coronary failure and die.
Unnatural Senses: Their spatial sense lets them avoid bumping into things. Loud noises disorient them and negate this Trait for 1 Round after the noise stops; however they are still completely familiar with their surroundings (having lived there all their lives and largely arranged them) and rarely cause chaos while so disoriented.
***Perfect Servant: A Servitor-Slave is immune to the Lidless Gaze power unless the Navigator using it specifically wishes to affect them; they automatically gain the +30 bonus for averting their gaze in this case.
Weapons: None
Armour: None
Gear: Concealing robes, speech-wand, brass polish and cloth, servant paraphernalia as appropriate
